Our carpet flooring in our home in Midlothian, TX were old, stained, and an eye sore from a few years of pets, children, and friends running through the household. We wanted to find a type of floor that would be durable, easy to clean, pet and children friendly. After researching online looking at different types of flooring options we found decorative concrete. The pictures of the floors I saw immediately caught my eye. The beautiful flow of color through the concrete floors where simply amazing. When I began to read about the benefits of concrete floors I knew this was the type of floor that I had to have in my home! From my research I found that the floors are very durable and would be a great fit for my home. I began to search around for companies to install a decorative concrete floor in my home.
I spoke with a few different companies and arranged to have 3 contractors come out to give me a bid on my floor. The first contractor that came in gave me a funny feeling while we discussed my floor. He did not have any insurance and seemed like he did not know what he was talking about. The next two contractors where great and bids where seemingly close in price. After looking over the bids I decided to go with ESR Concrete Staining. They offered me samples to look at and had great references. I scheduled ESR to start the following week.
ESR Concrete Staining came in and removed my carpet floors and tack strips. They then patched the tack strip holes and cut a border around my room to blend in the patched areas with a topical stain. My floors where acid stained with the color antique brown and antique tan mixed together and it created a beautiful flow of color on my floor! You could really tell the ESR crew new what they where doing with how efficiently they worked. They where always very kind and where ready to answer any questions I might have about my floors. I had ESR engrave a flagstone design into my concrete behind my flagstone bar area and it looks great! I could not be happier with the great work that ESR Concrete Staining did in my home. I plan on having them come back to do my pool area very soon with a stamped concrete overlay! If you are looking for a real professional company that will treat you right and do a wonderful job I would highly recommend ESR Concrete Staining! After seeing all the hard work it takes to make a floor like mine I am glad I did not go with my original plan and try to do the floor myself! It is definitely a job for the pros to get it done right!
